Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume 2020
Jean-Marc Brocard's Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume is an award winning expression of Chablis premier cru. Downstream of the River Serein, which runs through the Chablis vineyards, the Fourchaume terroir has a richer soil than the rest of the vineyard, due to the alluvial soils which are washed by the river. The result is a more flattering, pleasant and supple wine that still carries the mineral quality of the Chablis. The nose is fresh with toasted notes. On the palate saline notes, mineral and candied lemon aromas. This is a refined and elegant wine.
