Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese 2019
The Joh. Jos. Prüm Rieslings from the Graacher Himmelreich are already very accessible and expressive in their youth, compared to the Wehlener Sonnenuhr expressions. This is a spätlese that drinks very much like a Kabinett. Initially, herbs and lemons but once opened up there are also violets and dried flowers alongside the initial aromas of lime zest and lemon pith. Edgy and with a slight phenolic bite, mineral and detailed through to the long silky finish.
