Rhebokskloof Vineyard Selection Pinotage 2019
The Rhebokskloof Vineyard Selection Pinotage is from the Paarl region of South Africa, an area that enjoys a longstanding reputation as one of country's most renowned wine producing areas, a factor of its soils and climate. Matured in French oak for 18 months (20% new and 80% second and third fill) this wine spent a further 6 months resting in bottle prior to release. Alluring aromas of strawberries and ripe raspberries are prominent on both the nose and palate. The wine has a wonderfully elegant texture with soft lush tannins that seamlessly blends into the wonderfully dense explosion of fruit on the mid-palate. The opulent fruit is beautifully restrained by the bright and lively acidity which stands out on entry and lingers on to the long fruity finish.
