Ridge Vineyards Lytton Springs 2020
Ridge made its first vintage of Lytton Springs in 1972 from vines planted on the eastern half of the vineyard at the turn of the century. This single-vineyard, located in the Dry Creek Valley, is planted to Zinfandel and its principal complementary varietals. While typically powerful and profound, the 2020 Lytton Springs also has an extra degree of aromatic brightness and lift. The palate shows terrific breadth of plum and blueberry fruit, as well as energy and length.
