Sesti Rosso di Montalcino 2017
The Sesti Rosso di Montalcino is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown on the famous Castello di Argiano Sesti estate in Montalcino. Crafted using organic and biodynamic wine making principles the Rosso di Montalcino is matured for 18 months in oak before being bottled unfiltered and unfined. It rests a further 2 months in bottle before release. This is a delicious expression of Rosso di Montalcino that is lush, full bodied with beautifully balanced tannins. Aromas of rosemary, red summer berries and dark chocolate lead into a palate that is rich yet refreshing. A wonderful mid-week red perfect with steak, pasta, pizza and stews.
