Viña Echeverría Founder's Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

The Viña Echeverría Founder's Selection Cabernet Sauvignon is made from fruit sourced in the Maipo Valley wine region of Chile. Made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon the wine also has a portion of Syrah and Carménère grapes added into the blend. After careful grape selection and fermentation the wine is aged in new French oak barrels for approximately 18 months. The wine is then blended and returned to barrel for a further 6 months prior to bottling.

The Founder's Selection Cabernet is ruby red in colour with deep amber gleams. Cherries, plums, strawberries and blackberries combine nicely with eucalyptus and menthol aromas. A fulfilling and soft palate with black pepper and bitter chocolate flavours create a well balanced wine, one of a distinctive personality.
