Founded in 2005, Champagne Barons de Rothschild was born from the unprecedented alliance of the three French branches of the Rothschild family who wanted to craft a Grand Vin de Champagne together. Awarded a Gold Medal in the prestigious 2023 Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships, the Champagne Concordia Brut Non-Vintage (NV) is the Rothschild Family's take on the Champagne tradition with the blend based on Chardonnay (60%) and Pinot Noir (40%). Bright, clear, pale gold tints woven with very fine bubbles that carry energy and persistence. The freshness of the Chardonnay, boasting aromas of white flesh fruit such as pears and nectarines, ethereal touches of peony expressed by the Pinot Noir all held together with a streak of hazelnut and brioche. On the second nose aromas of dried apricots and almonds appear. There’s a weight and generosity underpinned by crisp nectarine, notes of honey, saffron and pepper which are nicely offset by a subtle bitterness on the finish.
