Domaine Arnaud & Stéphanie Dezat Sancerre 2023
The famous André Dezat made a name for this Domaine over 40 years ago before handing operations over to his sons Louis and Simon Dezat and their respective sons Arnaud and Firmin. The third generation of cousins running the Domaine decided to go their separate ways and have since amicably split the Domaine in two. Brother and sister Arnaud and Stéphanie Dezat have built new cellars close to the original domaine and are pursuing a traditional form of ‘lutte raisonnée’. From vines averaging 35 years old, this is a wonderfully expressive Sancerre with citrus, white flowers and exotic fruit aromas to the fore. Beautiful on entry to the palate with lovely acidity, the initial aromas detected on the nose emerge once again on the palate.
