Domaine Thibault Dezat Pouilly Fumé 2023
André Dezat purchased Domaine Thibault in Pouilly Fume some years ago and it has since become one of the finest of Pouilly Fumés. Brother and sister, Arnaud and Stéphanie Dezat have continued the family legacy producing a wonderful expression from across three different terroirs. They adopt a traditional form of ‘lutte raisonnée’ in the vineyard preferring to not use herbicides in order to preserve a natural biodiversity. In the cellar the wine is blended from across the different terroirs allowing to fully express the Pouilly Fumé appellation. Pale gold in colour the nose is powerful with notes of grapefruit, Mirabelle plums and spices. The palate is full and fresh with citrus fruit flavours and a vibrant zesty finish.
