Mandrarossa Frappato 2023
The vineyards for the Mandrarossa Frappato are located near Menfi on the south-western coast of Sicily, at an altitude of 250 metres above sea level. The Frappato grape typically produces wines with a light to medium body, high acidity and low tannins known for their fresh and fruity character, often exhibiting notes of red berries, strawberries, raspberries, and sometimes floral undertones. The Mandrarossa Frappato is intense ruby red in colour with purple hues. On the nose, it has aromas of morello and marasca cherries, notes of small red berries and sweet spices. The palate is mineral and balanced with a long finish.
