Muses Estate A.Muse Rosé 2021
The Muses Estate 'A.Muse' Rosé is a unique blend of Sauvignon Blanc (85%) and Mouhtaro (15%) grapes. The Mouhtaro vine is a rare native variety, which is found exclusively in the Valley of the Muses. Rescued by Nicolaos and Athanasios Zaharias, the variety is naturally low-yielding and produces concentrated wines with herbaceous and botanical notes. At the winery, co-fermentation took place of the Sauvignon Blanc and Mouhtaro, followed by maturation for one month. There was no use of oak so as to retain the characteristics of the rare Mouhtaro variety. Delicate salmon-pink in colour, A.Muse is a refreshing rosé full of elegant gooseberry and strawberry aromas, typical of the native Mouhtaro variety. Deliciously light, fruity and thirst-quenching, with archetypal cool-climate fruit.
