Muses Estate 'Clio The White Muse' 2022
The Muses Estate 'Clio, The White Muse' is a white wine blend of Assyrtiko (50%), Roditis (25%) and Savatiano (25%) and takes its name from the Muse: Clio, the inspirational Goddess of History. The bush vines are grown on the slopes of the Valley of the Muses at the foot of Mt. Helicon and were planted in 1947 in fertile soils, which produce wines characterised by rich aromatics. Each grape variety was vinified separately in stainless steel to retain the pure fruit flavours and the varietal characteristics. Maturation lasted for one month, the wines were then blended and aged for a further two months. It is bottled young to fully express the vibrancy. A fresh, vibrant blend with lifted notes of zesty lemon and green apple. Crisp, with a delicate texture and a juicy, mouthwatering finish.
