A d'Aussières Rouge 2022

Acquired in 1999 by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), the 550 hectare Domaine d'Aussières estate has witnessed a vast rehabilitation project. To date, 167 hectares of vines have been replanted with carefully selected traditional Languedoc grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan, complemented by Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay. The estate buildings were restored at the same time and a new winery installed in the old cellars, in the heart of the vineyard.  The consistency and remarkable potential of the wines produced since 2003 have already positioned Aussières as one of the front runners in the revival of the Languedoc. A d'Aussières is a multi-varietal red wine blend combining Syrah; Cabernet Franc; Cabernet Sauvignon; Alicante; Grenache; Marselan; Mourvèdre; Petit Verdot and Merlot grapes.Beautiful deep red colour with garnet highlights. Expressive on the nose with notes of blackcurrant, mild spices and hints of chocolate. Every varietal adds to the generosity of this wine. The palate is soft and supple with juicy mediterranean fruit dominating, with a touch of spice towards the finish.

Delivery Times

Vintage Availability

We endeavour to display accurate and current vintages on all our wines listed on the website; however, from time to time stocks of the vintage listed do become exhausted. If this is the case with your order we will always contact you to recommend another vintage of the same wine, if it is still available. If the vintage of a wine is important to you then please leave a note at checkout advising us of this.

Stock Availability

As we are retail stockists, selling from our Ledston shop as well as online, it makes it difficult for us to show a 'real-time' inventory of our wines and spirits online. As such, very occasionally, a wine may be out of stock that the website has allowed you to order.

To ensure a timely delivery, we are happy to substitute your order with a similar wine of equal or higher value and at no additional cost to you!

If this is not an acceptable solution please advise us in the 'Add A Comment' section at the checkout.
