El Vínculo Crianza 2020
The El Vínculo Crianza is made from a thicker-skinned variety of Tempranillo indigenous to the La Mancha region, called Cencibel sourced from vineyards with an average age of 50 years. The 2020 Crianza shows an intense, attractive picota cherry red colour with a bright, clean rim. The bouquet is powerful and complex, immediately offering concentrated notes of ripe black fruits—particularly blackberry, plum, and dark cherry. This lush fruit core is elegantly wrapped in savory, warming tones of vanilla, roasted coffee beans, and toffee, hallmarks of its long American oak maturation. The palate is full-bodied and fleshy, with a smooth entry that immediately transitions to powerful, persistent flavor. The tannins are fine-grained, ripe, and fully integrated, providing excellent structure without harshness. It concludes with a long, flavorful finish marked by dark chocolate and sweet spice.
