Downpour Sloe & Bramble Gin
Delicious sloe berries & hand gathered Uist brambles are added to Downpour Scottish Dry Gin before being aged in bourbon casks for an unmistakable finish that delivers complex & rich fruity flavours. This is a slow sloe gin. The sloes are soaked in alcohol for up to a year, allowing the stone to impart marzipan notes. Each batch is named after the area of the island that the brambles are gathered. Rich, jammy, fruit cake flavours. The ageing in bourbon casks adds vanilla notes. Less sweet than a traditional sloe gin so can be paired with a mixer or sipped neat.
