Domaine de Thalabert Crozes-Hermitage 2015
Domaine de Thalabert is the oldest vineyard in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation and has been owned by Paul Jaboulet Aîné since 1834. The Crozes Hermitage vineyard is the largest of the northern appellations. It extends over 11 communes located in the Drôme, on the left bank of the Rhône. The entire vineyard is certified organic and cultivated with respect for the soil and the living ecosystem. Additionally, the team at Paul Jaboulet Aîné have set up a 7-hectare wildlife reservoir, in the heart of the Thalabert vineyard, the first LPO biodiversity refuge in the Drôme. The finest vintage to date, better even than the stellar 2010, the 2015 Crozes- Hermitage Domaine De Thalabert is a gorgeous, deep, layered, and incredibly satisfying Crozes-Hermitage. Blackcurrants, olive tapenade, truffles and earthy notes all emerge from this full-bodied, gorgeously textured and seamless red wine.
