Astrolabe Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019
The Astrolabe Province Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is made from grapes grown across three Marlborough sub-regions — the Wairau Valley, the Awatere Valley and the Kekerengu Coast. Grapes are machine harvested at night or in the cool parts of the day to preserve the purity and intensity of flavours. In the winery, great care is taken to handle the fruit in a way which allows the flavours and aromas of the region to come through. The Astrolabe Province Sauvignon Blanc is a pale straw in colour with vibrant aromas of lemon grass, lime peel and elderflower. The palate is medium bodied with flavours of white peach, gooseberry and citrus notes to the fore leading onto a dry mineral finish.
