Bodegas Caro Amancaya 2019
Bodegas Caro Amancaya is now a globally iconic brand. Like its elder it presents a subtle harmony of Argentinian identity alongside Bordeaux style. A blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon with 12 months of oak ageing. To celebrate its Andean roots, it bears the Indian name of a pretty little flower that grows in the high altitudes of the Andes. The colour is a deep ruby with purple nuances. The nose is complex deep and broody with layered notes of cassis, cocoa, melted dark chocolate, salted caramel, figs with cinnamon, clove and bonfire. The palate unveils seductive aromas of black fruit with very well-integrated oak. This wine has great balance and an exceptional freshness. There’s a restraint to the fruit that exudes sheer class.
