Bodegas Caro ARUMA 2020
Founded is 1999 Bodegas CARO is a partnership between Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and the Catena family. The Catena family have an unrivalled knowledge of Malbec and the terroir of Mendoza, which coupled with DBR Lafite’s exceptional knowledge of blending Cabernet Sauvignon, results in a range of magnificent wines. ARUMA is a pure Malbec red wine made from a blend of grapes sourced from the best terroirs of Mendoza. ARUMA means "the night" in the Quechua language, an Indian people from the Mendoza region. The nights in the Andes are pitch black, the mountain air is pure, and the wines have the rich, authentic character of their terroir. This fruit-filled, punchy and utterly gorgeous Malbec delivers oodles of luscious black fruit and spice. Notes of violets, cassis and chocolate covered blueberry with a long lingering finish.
