Kooyong Beurrot Pinot Gris 2016

The Kooyong Beurrot Pinot Gris is bright straw in colour. Aromas of struck match accentuate an expressive nose of almond, spun sugar, nougat, lychee and sweet fresh hay. The palate is rich yet dry and structured, with a viscous texture characteristic of the variety, moderate alcohol and fresh acidity. The residual sugar is relatively low for this style and helps to emphasize the purity of this grape. Whilst best enjoyed youthful, this wine will build further richness over several years in bottle.
