Lethbridge Mietta Pinot Noir 2013
The Lethbridge Mietta Pinot Noir is an extremely limited release red wine produced from the home block at Lethbridge. An unusual presentation of the MV6 clone within the estate vineyard produces fruit with great density of flavour and extremely low yields. This wine was fermented with 80% whole bunch inclusion and pressed straight to barrel (100% new French oak) to allow for gross lees contact and natural malolactic fermentation. The resulting wine offers intense aromas of black cherries, raspberries, herbs and forest floor. The palate is deliciously rich and silky, intensely savoury and with great balance.
