The Lane RG Chardonnay 2012

The Lane RG (Reginald Germein) Single Vineyard Chardonnay is a tribute wine to Helen’s father Reg, and is taking Australian Chardonnay to new levels of excellence, comparable with Burgundy’s great white wines and soaring above many of Australia’s ‘known’ champions. Sourced from the oldest and most revered plantings on the estate the exquisite fruit is pressed straight to barrel and left to ferment naturally. This wonderful Chardonnay is a brilliant golden colour with aromas of oak, white peach and creme brûlée to the fore. The palate offers great mouthfeel and length, impeccable structure and natural acidity, fruit purity, balance and textural complexity.
