Tournon Mathilda Shiraz 2017
The Tournon Mathilda Shiraz by M. Chapoutier is named for Michel’s daughter Mathilde, as well as a reference to the Australia bush ballad “Waltzing Matilda”, often thought of as Australia’s unofficial anthem. This Shiraz shows a brilliant, dark ruby appearance with intense aromas of ripe black fruits and peppers. The palate is fresh and juicy with silky and elegant tannins.
