Zuccardi Concreto Malbec 2018
Zuccardi Concreto Malbec is made from grapes grown on a selection of chalky soils at the estates own vineyards in Paraje Altamira. Part of the wine is fermented with whole bunch clusters in concrete and is aged in concrete, egg shaped vessels at the beautiful Valle de Uco winery. The use of concrete throughout production and maturation imparts a subtle aromatic character to the Concreto Malbec. The nose is fresh and perfumed with floral and herbal notes to the fore. The palate has a cool fruit character with a savoury edge and a touch of chalky tannins and dried herb undertones. Perfectly balanced with a long satisfying finish.
