Sloemotion Sloe Ruby
The Sloemotion Distillery Sloe Ruby is an unusual, but very effective blend of sloes, London Dry Gin and Ruby Port, creating a smooth, rich and luxurious drink. To begin locally foraged botanicals are used to enhance Sloemotion's unique Hedgerow Gin. Then, to those subtle flavours of crab apple, nettle, rosehip, elderflower and wildflower meadow hay, they add sloes, the bitter fruit of the blackthorn. Finally, this is then blended with rich, velvety Ruby Port in small batches until the flavour is just right. The deep, dark fruity notes of the ruby port combine beautifully with the aromatic cherry taste of the sloe. The Hedgerow Gin further fortifies the blend providing a full and fruity, slightly dry finish.
