Biserno IGT Rosso
Biserno IGT Rosso is the eponymous wine of the Tenuta di Biserno estate. A red wine blend of Cabernet Franc alongside Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes, Biserno reflects the excellent terroir and microclimate of the coastal area of the Upper Maremma. Classically produced, it warrants patience - possibly 5 to 6 years - to achieve optimal drinking. Biserno manages to maintain a sense of place, a coastal, Tuscan character yet with international flair, an individual personality apart from other wines of Alta Maremma. Only the finest grapes are selected, resulting in a wine of depth, intensity, complexity, longevity and elegance – all thanks to the terroir and microclimate.
