La Réserve de Léoville Barton 2016
La Réserve de Léoville Barton is the second wine of Léoville Barton made from 40 year old vines. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (23%) and Cabernet Franc (7%) the wine was matured in oak barrels for 12 months prior to bottling. This traditionally styled Bordeaux red wine has an expressive nose of forest berries with hints of cedar, coffee and a touch of vanilla spice. Elegant and refined, with a long finish. Delicious with roasted red meats, braised lamb, a juicy pan-fried steak or fine cheese.
