M.O.B. [Moreira, Olazabal & Borges] is a collaborative project between three prominent Portuguese winemakers. Jorge Moreira, Francisco Olazabal, and Jorge Serôdio Borges. The trio has come together to create exceptional wines in the Dão region, one of Portugal`s oldest and most respected wine regions. The M.O.B. Lote 3 Tinto is a red wine blend of Alfrocheiro, Jaen and Touriga Nacional. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and 50% was then aged for 12 months in 225L oak barrels. Dark, ripe, rich in fruit but also with a lovely savoury quality. "Deep crimson. The texture is the star here: dry, fine, almost chalky tannins.
