Domaine Courbis Les Eygats Cornas 2016
The Domaine Courbis Cornas Les Eygats is a stunning red wine. Made from 100% Syrah the wine was part fermented in vats (50%) and French oak barrels (50%) of which 25% were new and bottled after 18 months ageing in oak. Notes of red fruit and Morello cherry are complemented by elegant oaked spice. This classic Cornas has a round and textured palate enveloped in luscious deep black cherry flavours, with subtle spice and delicate oak notes. A wine of great finesse with a long, exquisite finish.
