Folie de Roi Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh Sec 2017
Produced in the same appellation area as Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh Sec is a seductive, fresh and smooth white wine made from the indigenous grape varieties of Gros Manseng and Petit Courbu. Folie de Roi is named as a tribute to Henry IV, the famous King of Navarre who reigned during the 16th Century and who was well known for his love of good food and the wines of this region. This stunning dry white boasts a beautiful balance of richly textured citrus fruit, with flint minerality, crisp acidity and a vibrant finish. An unusual blend and perfect food wine.
