Gaia Nōtios Peloponnese Red 2019
The grapes for Gaia's Nōtios Red ("The Southerner" in Greek) come from select, mature, low-yielding vines in the hills of the Koutsi region of Nemea. Nōtios is a blend of two perfectly complementary varieties of the Mediterranean South, Agiorgitiko offers intense fruit aromas and soft tannins, alongside the Syrah grape which gives the wine its rich and spicy character, structure and depth. This is a youthful style of red wine with a refreshing, velvety texture and intense, persistent aromas of ripe red and black fruit, with soft tannins that underlie a well-structured palate.
