Gaia Nōtios White 2019
The Gaia Nōtios White is a Peloponnese white wine produced from two pink skinned indigenous grape varieties: Moschofilero and Roditis and small amount of Assyrtiko. The Moschofilero grapes ( pronounced Mosho-FEEL- ero) come from the mountainous vineyards of Arcadia region, where the 15 year old vines are grown and develop intense, spicy and floral aromatics with crisp acidity. The Roditis comes from vineyards located on the Corinthian slopes; the ideal environment for producing grapes with elegance and a smooth, lemony character. This fusion of traditional Greek varieties results in a light, fresh and elegant wine. The Moschofilero contributes vibrant, floral flavours, the Roditis imparts a smooth citrus zesty character and the Assyrtiko delivers wonderful complexity, crisp acidity and a mineral finish.
