Greywacke Botrytis Pinot Gris 2015
The Greywacke Botrytis Pinot Gris is an opulent sweet white wine made from Botrytis affected grapes grown near Renwick at the vineyard that surrounds Greywacke HQ. A patisserie-like mélange conjuring notions of dark orange marmalade, tarte tatin and honey crème brûlée infused with hints of lapsang souchong. A decadent and voluptuous interpretation of Pinot Gris that is richly flavoured with poached quince and dried fruits - mouth watering acidity balances the luscious sweetness of this wine leading to a clean lingering finish.
