Mastrojanni Brunello di Montalcino Schiena d'Asino 2013
The Brunello di Montalcino Schiena d’Asino is Mastrojanni’s top cru, with all Sangiovese grapes coming from a single 1 hectare vineyard. The wine is aged for 42 months in Allier oak barrels before spending a further 12 months resting in bottle before release. The palate is savoury and complex, with ripe red fruit and balsamic notes. This is a serious red wine that has the capability to age for decades.
