Domaine Labruyère Bourgogne Gamay 2017
This Bourgogne Gamay cuvée is a selection of exceptional granite terroirs of Domaine Labruyère. Approximately 4000 vines per acre, where the average age of vines is 50 years. The grapes are harvested manually before passing on a double sorting table and are 100% de-stemmed. The fermentation takes place in concrete or stainless steel tanks, in order to isolate each parcel and to express the unique characteristics of Labruyère's terroirs. The wine is aged in concrete or stainless steel tanks for 18 months with 100% malolactic fermentation. Beautiful intense ruby red in colour. Very fruity on the nose with fresh ripe red cherry notes evolving with time on delicate spicy notes. The palate is savoury and fleshy with great fruitiness and elegant silky tannins.
