Domaine Labruyère Champ de Cour Moulin-à-Vent 2015
Domaine Labruyère Champ de Cour Moulin-à-Vent is from a south-east facing granitic plot which has pebbles under a thick layer of dense clay, giving the wine a bold and mineral character. Sourced from vines 50+ years old this wine is 100% Gamay which is aged in oak barrels (10% new oak) for 13 months before bottling with slight filtration but no fining.
Domaine Labruyère Champ de Cour Moulin-à-Vent is a beautiful deep red colour with savoury, elegant notes of black fruits and liquorice to the nose. The palate is very intense with notes of cocoa and spices. Lingering and fresh finish with dense and velvety tannins.
