Viña Echeverría Chardonnay Gran Reserva 2017

Grapes for the Viña Echeverría Chardonnay Gran Reserva are sourced from a vineyard located in the Casablanca Valley, a cool-climate coastal region
close to the Pacific Ocean. Whole bunch pressed and part fermented in oak the wine was then aged on its fine lees in French oak barrels for 12 months prior to bottling. An elegant style of Chardonnay that has intense primary aromas of apricots and peaches, whilst also offering notes of vanilla and toffee. Rich but fresh on the palate, it has a balancing acidity and flavours of dried fruit and pineapple, through to a long finish.

Roberto Echeverría Jr has been the Chief Winemaker at Viña Echeverría since 2001. Inspired by his French heritage, Roberto’s signature style produces wines with a combination of Old World elegance and New World energy.
