Antonelli Trebium Trebbiano Spoletino 2018
Antonelli's Trebium is an organic white wine made from 100% old vine Trebbiano Spoletino grapes. Once at the winery the grapes are soft pressed via gravity and fermented in large oak barrels, before being left to age on the lees for 6 months. Intense straw yellow in colour Trebium displays intense fruity and floral aromas that lead onto a structured and full palate. Citrus and tropical fruits, alongside almond and hint of spiciness are balanced by a seam of fresh acidity. A perfect partner with prosciutto ham, terrines and carpaccio. Can also be served with first course fish dishes, spaghetti carbonara, saffron risotto or with main dishes such as rich fish stews and rare, roast beef. Also excellent with aged semi-hard cheeses.
