Antonelli Montefalco Rosso 2019/20
The Antonelli Montefalco Rosso is a red wine blend of Sangiovese (70%), Sagrantino (15%) and Montepulciano (15%) grapes, organically grown on the family estate in Montefalco. Each grape variety is fermented separately, before being blended and aged in large oak barrels for 12 months. Ruby red in colour the Montefalco Rosso displays intense fruity aromas, with hints of cherry and wild berries. The palate is full, balanced and well structured with the Sangiovese component adding a real freshness to the wine. A wine of real drinkability that goes well with flavoursome first courses (ravioli, risotto, tagliatelle); red meats and mature cheeses.
