Llopart Panoramic Imperial Brut 2018
The Llopart Panoramic Imperial Brut is a vintage sparkling wine that blends the local grapes of Xarel-lo (50%), Macabeu (40%) and Parellada (10%). It is one of Lloparts most historic expressions, becoming one of the classics for lovers of long-aged, creamy and elegant sparkling wines. The label seeks to represent the exceptional 'Panoramic' landscape of the Can Llopart de Subirats estate. At the winery, the grapes were very lightly whole bunch pressed without destemming. The must was then clarified by cool, static sedimentation. Fermentation took place with selected yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The secondary fermentation took place in the bottle as per the Traditional Method, followed by 48 months bottle ageing. Brightly gleaming golden in colour with delicate and fine bubbles. The long aging process allows for a complex bouquet of roasted nuts and honey, along with smoky tones. The palate is full, creamy and beautifully balanced with a fine, elegant mousse.
