The Roger Goulart Gran Reserva Joseph Valls showcases the very best of traditional Spanish sparkling winemaking, offering a rich, toasty character that rivals many non-vintage Champagnes. As a Gran Reserva, this Cava has been meticulously aged for a minimum of 30 months on its lees, a full half-year longer than the requirement, ensuring a refined texture and deep, satisfying flavour profile. A sparkling combination of the classic Spanish grapes - Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada - alongside portions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this Cava is defined by its elegance and depth. On the nose expect evolved, tertiary notes of toasted brioche, roasted almonds, and subtle honey layered over refreshing backbone of dried lemon peel and green apple. The palate is intensely dry (Brut), yet perfectly balanced by the creamy richness derived from the long aging process. The mousse (bubbles) is exceptionally fine and persistent, leading to a long, clean finish.
